Turkey Trot and Friends (Jacqueline's Tale)

Jacqueline at Turkey TrotDallas Animal Services is always looking for new, creative ways to get our precious animals adopted. One of our Adoption Specialists, Catherine, decided to try something new.

On Thanksgiving Day, Catherine ran the YMCA Turkey Trot with a couple of our larger dogs, Bliss and Jacqueline. The dogs really loved to be around people and handled crowds well. When Catherine got to the race, they were very patient while she put their DAS scarves on them enjoyed being able to run the race with her.

Jacqueline gets adotpedOne of the families in attendance instantly fell in love with Jacqueline and adopted her. Jacqueline, now known as November Grace, or “Novi” for short, is having lots of fun with her great, new family. Bliss was adopted by another family later on.

Happy endings for all!
